Here are some things we have to look forward to today.

1. Weather outlook: It will be cloudy through the day with the sun peaking out in the late morning. The temperature will climb to 7 C but clearing skies will see it drop to 2 C by 7 p.m.

medical marijuana2. Stories we’re covering today: Veterans Affairs will reimburse eligible veterans for purchases of up to three grams of medical marijuana a day. The announcement was welcomed by a national medical marijuana association.

3. Something for the kids: Get them active after school at the H2O Centre. Indoor and outdoor sports activities that will build teamwork and friendships. Active Kids is a YMCA program for ages 5 to 10 which starts today at 3:30 at H2O, 4075 Gordon Dr.

4. A way to give back:  Take part in a forum to discuss Sustainable Development Goals for Kelowna, the Okanagan and B.C. with the BC Council for International Cooperation. The provincial election is May 2017, and this forum will get questions ready to ask candidates as they vie for your votes. Meet at 1317 Ethel Street from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight.
