Vernon council has approved one-time financial grants to four separate organizations.
The grants include $6,000 to replace the carpet at the Family Resource Centre, $5,000 to assist with advertising for the Okanagan Military Tattoo, $2,000 so the Ribbons of Green Trails Society can incorporate its trail plan into the city’s official community plan, and $2,500 so the Vernon BMX Club can replace the roof and gutters on its main building.
