Greater Victoria’s Salvation Army Kettle Campaign looks for volunteers

The Salvation Army's annual Christmas Kettle campaign began today but the group is still looking for volunteers to man the kettles.

The 107th annual Salvation Army Christmas Kettle fund raising campaign got underway Thursday at locations throughout the region. Funds raised will go to help out with social service programs and resources to support individuals in need All money donated stays in the community where the donation was made.

The Salvation Army can use some help with this year’s fund raiser and is hoping more people will volunteer to join the ranks of the familiar bell ringers standing with the kettles. Interested volunteers can get more information by calling 250-386-8521.
