A Grinch or two stole a pair of wooden snowshoes and a vintage red sled from outside the Station House Gallery in broad daylight, executive director Diane Toop said.
“The sled went first about two weeks ago,” Toop said. “The snowshoes went on Saturday or Sunday some time during the day.”
Toop said the items were loaned to the gallery through the kindness of people’s hearts at the beginning of the month, just for the season.
It is disappointing at this time of the year, she said, that people would do something like this.
However, she is guessing whoever took the items won’t be able to do much with them because more than 21,000 people have seen a post about the items being stolen on Facebook.
