Another marijuana grow operation has been shut down in Lake Country.

On March 23, officers searched a residence in the 12800 block of Shoreline Drive and 505 marijuana plants were discovered.

“Steroids and a small amount of cocaine were also located inside the residence,” said Cst. Kris Clark, RCMP spokesperson.

No arrests have yet been made but charges of theft of hydro, production of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking may be recommended to Crown counsel pending further investigation by the police.
