Victoria police hope the public can help them find a man who violated his parole by walking away from a halfway house in Victoria in July.

Jason Robinson, 48, has a history of weapons offences. He had recently finished serving a federal sentence and was living at a halfway house in the city before he walked away this summer. He is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest, for being unlawfully at large.

Police urge the public to avoid Robinson if he is seen. Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to immediately call 9-1-1 or email Det. Shawn Robson at shawn.robson@vicpd.ca.
