Hand up for Spring Fling

The Campbell River and District Adult Care Society recently received a $1,500 cheque from Greg Manzulenko, the Plant Manager from the Island Generation Facility.

Capital Power donated these funds to support the society’s annual Spring Fling event which takes place in May.

The purpose of the Spring Fling is to provide the seniors at the Adult Care Society with an opportunity to go out in the community to enjoy dinner and entertainment for the night.

Most of society’s seniors otherwise do not get an opportunity to go out of their homes to enjoy socialization.
