Hard work  recognized n Salmon Arm council presents Gene Puetz with a certificate of appreciation for his voluntary effort looking after the Department of Fisheries and Oceans’ fish counting gate on his property. Since 1984, Puetz has helped some 85,000 chinook, coho and sockeye through the gate, his count used to determine local fish numbers.
