Over the past 24 hrs these are some of the events Terrace RCMP responded to:

Downtown Terrace

– false alarm

– fourteen year old male shot three times with an air soft pistol by a sixteen year old male. The

fourteen year old did not received injuries. The matter is still under investigation.

– complaint received of two males kicking shopping carts. The males were found and warned about their behavior

Elsewhere in Terrace

– suspicious person. Person of complaint was found and spoken with. Matter was unfounded.

– 2 false 911

– complaint received of group of intoxicated people walking along Sparks St. One of the intoxicated persons was on conditions to abstain from alcohol. He was arrested and lodged in cells to be held for court.

– complaint was received of two stolen bikes. The complainant called back later to advise that his wife had driven by the store, saw the two bikes unattended and unlocked, so took them to make the boys think they were stolen. Lesson learnt.

– a pink wallet was lost at George Little Park a week ago

Thornhill

– a group of people were rattling the doors of Thornhill Elementary School. Two empty beer case were found on scene, but no people, and no damage

Kitsumkalum, Kitselas, Gitaus

– a complaint was received that a person’s camper was flipped over by unknown persons. This camper was on private property, but private property not belonging to the person living in it. The complainant was advised to discuss the matter with the band council.

Rural

– 1 false alarm
