Agassiz resident Isabella Beltrame captured some great shots of the burning of Eastern Filbert Blight-infected hazelnut trees at Canadian Hazelnuts on the evening of Feb. 17. Local farmers were given permission to burn the dead trees before the Eastern Filbert Blight-infected trees have a chance to spread the disease further afield.
