Hearthstone Place, a 30-bed supportive housing complex, was officially opened on Gladys Avenue in Abbotsford this morning.
Three area MLAs – Simon Gibson, Darryl Plecas and Mike de Jong – attended, along with Mayor Henry Braun and about 50 others.
The building has 30 low-barrier units for 10 women and 20 men who have recently been homeless or at risk of homelessness.
