With the help of the community through a garage sale fundraiser at Timberline Village, Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM) raised $3,700 for the family of a staff member battling cancer. The garage sale raised $1,700 and featured prizes and contributions from Pappa Murphy’s, Subway, Glen’s Kettle Corn, Bouncearama and the TD-Canada Trust, as well as from both SDM locations (Tyee Plaza and Timberline). Shoppers Drug Mart head office also contributed $2,000 from the corporation’s Wish Foundation.
