Mission's very own Sun Run hopes to raise $4,000 for the Mission Hospice Society

The annual Heritage to Hatzic 5- and 10-kilometre runs are set to take place on Sunday, April 7.

This is Mission’s very own Sun Run and this year organizers have set a goal to raise $4,000 or more for the Mission Hospice Society. The money will go to support the society’s camp program for kids.

This year the race will be starting and finishing in Fraser River Heritage Park near the shelter. The route will run a loop in the park and then head out to Hatzic before returning to the park and the finish line.

This course is relatively flat and has some fantastic views of the Fraser River and Valley.

After the run, participants can enjoy the awards presentation for the fastest runners and draw prizes for everyone to have a chance to win.
