A man with a criminal history of sexual assault against vulnerable women is on the lam.
Roger Dale Badour, 62, hasn’t been seen since Friday (April 29) at 1 p.m., on lower Johnson Street. Badour was released from prison earlier this year, after serving a seven-year sexual assault sentence, on a supervision order that commanded him to check in with a parole officer and a high-risk offender officer. At the time of his release from prison, Victoria police issued a warning to women that he would be living in the Victoria area.
Badour is known to target adult women who are alone and socially vulnerable and befriending them. His past convictions include sexual assault, forcible confinement and uttering death threats.
Now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for his arrest, Badour should not be approached if seen, police warn. Instead, anyone who sees him should call Victoria police at 250-995-7654 or call 9-1-1.
Badour is 5’8″, weighs 172 pounds, has medium-length grey hair, blue eyes and a tattoo on his left shoulder.
