High winds topple trees, power lines in Saanich

On-going road closure in the 3900 block of Saanich Road affectcting traffic

Travellers are encouraged to use alternate routes as police deal with an on-going traffic incident in the 3900 block of Saanich Rd.

High winds knocked down a tree, which fell across power lines. The tree aso hit a vehicle travelling along Saanich Road.

Traffic flow in the area has been diverted, and members of the public are encouraged to use alternate routes. Saanich Road between Greenridge Crescent and McKenzie Ave will be closed.
