Highlands council members will be sharpening their pencils and double checking the numbers starting this month.
They’re also inviting Highlands residents to attend 2017 budget consultation meetings being held over the next several weeks to provide input and ask questions.
The sessions, included as part of committee of the whole or council meetings, are scheduled for March 13 and 27, April 10, May 1 and 8. The agendas will be available on the District of Highlands website on the Friday prior to the meetings. All meetings will be held in the Old School House at the Caleb Pike Heritage Park, 1589 Millstream Rd., and will start promptly at 7 p.m.
