NANAIMO – Students compete in Skills Canada B.C. Regional Competition in Nanaimo.

Dozens of high school students from the central Island and Sunshine Coast came to Nanaimo Friday to compete in culinary arts, carpentry, automotive, hairdressing, welding and other specialties.

The day’s winners move on to compete in the provincial skills competitions in Abbotsford April 5.
