The emergency entrance and drop off will be closed Tuesday through Thursday for construction.

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 the main emergency drop-off area at Vernon Jubilee

Hospital will be closed for construction. This closure will last three full days with the emergency drop-off and main entrance re-opening on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2015.

Patients and members of the public looking to access the emergency department during this closure will be redirected to the “Temporary Entrance” identified on the map below.

Please note, a flagger will be on-site to direct traffic to an identified temporary emergency drop-off location as well as a security guard to direct patients and members of the public.

Interior Health apologizes for any inconvenience during this three day construction period and offers our sincere thanks for your support. The closure is required to accommodate ongoing construction of the 6th and 7th-floors of the Polson Tower.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the hospital’s main line at 250-545-2211.

It is anticipated that overall construction at the hospital will be complete in late fall 2015. For more information about this and other major capital projects, please visit www.buildingpatientcare.ca.
