Hot calendar sales go to good causes

Fernie Fire and Rescue has donated $2,400 raised through the Firefight Calendar initiative to good causes in the region.

Fernie Fire and Rescue has donated $2,400 raised through the Firefight Calendar initiative to good causes in the region.

$1,200 has been donated to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health and Ktunaxa Kinbasket Family and Child Services Society’s Not Alone Campaign in support of youth mental health care in the region, while another $1,200 has been donated to the Fernie Salvation Army.

The calendars featured members of Fernie Fire and Rescue and were made with the help of Body Garage and Decoro Portraits.
