Quesnel Fire Department responded to a house fire in the early hours of Dec. 13 at 521 Donnelly St. in Uplands in West Quesnel.
Director of emergency services Sylvain Gauthier said the call came in at 1:30 a.m. and the fire fighters was on the scene until 5:45 a.m.
Two apparatus and a ladder truck were on the scene, with 13 members of the department.
“The fire involved a single residence, which suffered extensive damages. The residence beside it also suffered some damages, which were limited to the siding of the house,” said Gauthier.
All occupants were reported safe.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
