A Victoria womens’ transitional housing project is getting a makeover, thanks to a $25,000 grant from The Home Depot.

Threshold Housing Society’s Holly House provides semi-independent living for girls aged 16 to 21 who are in need of support.

The funding will be used to upgrade flooring and the bathroom at the home.

The Home Depot’s affordable housing grant program launched in 2009, and has distributed nearly $2 million in grants to 79 communities across Canada.
