Rutabaga bowling wasn’t the only activity at the Sept. 2 Rutabaga event at Wynndel Hall.
Hundreds of visitors swarmed to the area to shop at a giant garage sale, make purchases from local vendors, view informational displays, enjoy live entertainment, lunch on chicken and veggie wraps and, most importantly, to take advantage of a brilliant warm day on the summer’s last long weekend.
As much a chance to socialize as to celebrate the rutabaga, the event has become a popular feature of summer in Wynndel.
