Burns Lake RCMP were stopping traffic on Nov. 1, 2013 as part of a hunter spot-check initiative. They were looking for infractions under the B.C. wildlife act, like hunting out of season, or infractions under the firearms act, like improperly transported firearms.
No infractions were found, but RCMP will continue to their efforts.
