Motorists had to deal with slippery streets on their Monday morning commute in Maple Ridge.
Two accidents happened at about 7:15 a.m. on Dewdney Trunk Road, in east Maple Ridge. One report said a vehicle went off the road at 264th Street. Emergency crews responded to another collision nearby at 265th Street, after a pickup truck struck, and then sheered off, a BC Hydro power pole.
Firefighters reported many vehicles sliding on the road.
Extent of any injuries, isn’t known.
