Impaired driver detained
On Thursday, Aug. 31, Oak Bay Police stopped a vehicle that had its headlights off. After the vehicle was pulled over, officers noticed an odour of liquor emanating from the driver. As a result, the driver was subsequently issued a 24-hour driving suspension.
Driver suspended after speeding, drinking
A vehicle was stopped after a female driver was caught speeding in the morning of Saturday, Sept. 2. Oak Bay Police officers noticed an odour of stale liquor coming from the driver, and was consequently issued a three-day driving suspension and her vehicle was impounded.
