This July 21, anyone in Penticton who has not received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can attend Interior Health’s mobile immunization clinic.
Second doses will also be available for anyone who received their first dose more than seven weeks or 49 days ago.
No advance appointments are necessary for this clinic. People who live or work in the Penticton area will be able to walk up, register and receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccine.
The mobile immunization clinic will be parked at Skaha Lake Beach from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those living in the Penticton area, born in 2009 or earlier who have not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine or anyone who received their first dose more than 49 days ago are eligible to attend the clinic.
Interior Health’s mobile immunization clinics are a partnership with the British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) and are travelling through the region, making stops in more than 40 communities along the way.
