The RCMP are continuing their investigation into the suspicious death of a Vernon man.

On Wednesday, officers were called to an apartment in the 2900 block of 43rd Avenue just after 11:30 a.m. On attendance, police confirmed an adult man was dead.

“Efforts are continuing to conclusively identify the individual, therefore the investigating agencies are not in a position to release the individual’s identity at this time,” said Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

“Investigative findings to date indicate that the man’s death does not create any threats to public safety in the community.”

Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact the RCMP at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
