Jon Wilsgard, the current manager of corporate services for the Town of Golden, has accepted the position of chief administrative officer for the Town.
The position has been empty since David Allen resigned in March after he accepted a position in Courtenay.
“We have incredible faith in Mr. Wilsgard, and are fortunate he accepted the position,” said Mayer Christina Benty after making the announcement at the regular open council meeting on April 9.
