Mayor Charlie Cornfield (centre, with tie) helped perform the ceremonial ribbon cutting to open the Jubilee Connector Trail and its Willow Creek bridge today. With him is (from left) carpenter Robert Judge, a member of the bridge work crew from Mallison Scaling and Consulting Ltd., Stacey Larson, Greenways Land trust Operations Manager, and Jamie Alquire, geotechnician of Maritime Pacific Engineering who designed the bridge and steeper slopes of the trail in-kind. The 2.5 km trail is another link in the Greenways Loop that will eventually circumnavigate the City of Campbell River.
