The girls tour schools across northern Vancouver Island every spring to promote participation in Jump Rope For Heart, an annual fundraiser for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Coaches Linda Lofstrom and Diana Parker are retiring after this season, they say, leaving the team in need of new mentors. Practices run Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-4:30 p.m. and the team tours primarily in March and April.
