Kelowna department responding to Upper Mission Fire

Multiple engines have responded to a shed fire on Stanley Crescent in the Mission

The fire has been brought under control in the Upper Mission. There are no details at this time as the cause.

The Kelowna Fire Department is on the scene of a shed fire in the Upper Mission area this afternoon.

Multiple fire engines have responded to the area of Stanley Crescent, off of Chute Lake Road, where the first responders came across a shed that was fully engulfed by flames.

According to reports, the crews fighting the blaze were expecting to have the fire knocked down fairly quickly, however they did call another engine to the scene.

Fire crews confirmed the shed fire had not extended to a nearby house.
