Multiple accidents have police, fire and ambulance crews busy in Kelowna this evening.

There are reports of accidents in Glenmore and Peachland and a 25-year-old man who may be submerged in water on Big White at Gem Lake. The incident appears to be on the ski hill itself, though details are still emerging.

Heavy snow and poor visibility appear to be the cause of most issues, and as such, Vernon has cancelled classes at Okanagan College.

Unconfirmed reports have two vehicles in the ditch off Dilworth Mountain and a third at Longhill and Valley roads. There has also been an accident at Antler’s Beach in Peachland, in which at least one person has been sent to hospital, and another on Beach Avenue.

Capital News reporters are heading to multiple locations and will continue to follow each incident.
