Kelowna Mounties look for owner of two snowmobiles

The Kelowna RCMP are searching for the registered owners of two snow machines found abandoned in the Goudie area on Friday

The Kelowna RCMP are searching for the registered owners of two snow machines found abandoned in the Goudie area on Friday.

Local RCMP spokesperson Const. Jesse O’Donaghey says that on Friday Feb.12, at 8:30 am, the  RCMP attended to a remote location in the Goudie area in response to a report of two found snowmobiles abandoned in the area for days. To date police have been unable to identify their owner or owners and return the suspected stolen property to them.

Snowmobile No. 1:

·         Arctic Cat 500;

·         Powder Special

·         Grey and green in colour;

Snowmobile No. 2:

·         Polaris;

·         Indy Sport;

·         Black, blue and pink in colour;

Police have seized both snow machines as found property, and arranged for their removal and storage until an owner can be located.

If you can prove that you are the rightful owner(s) of these snow mobiles, you are asked to contact Const. Jackie Davidson of the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
