Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying two suspects in a pair of bank robberies over the past week.
On Friday, July 19, at 3:30 p.m. an armed robber hit the Bank of Montreal at 3155 Lakeshore Road.
Upon entering the bank, he passed a note to the teller demanding money and indicating he was armed with a handgun, though he never publicly brandished the weapon. He nevertheless managed to obtain an undisclosed amount of money from the bank and fled on foot.
The robber is said to be Caucasian with a dark complexion, possibly native, aged 25 to 30 years of age and between five-foot, six inches tall and five-foot, eleven inches tall with short brown hair and an average build.
He was last seen wearing dark glasses, a plaid button-up shirt, jean shorts, a black hat and backpack.
In a separate incident four days later—on Monday, July 22 at 11:30 a.m.—another robber hit the Bank of Montreal located at 1875 Dilworth Drive.
An unknown man entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, having never discussed or produced a weapon of any kind.
The second suspect is described as Caucasian, six-foot, two inches tall and about 165 pounds with a slim build, dirty-blonde hair, close-set eyes, a large nose and chin strap beard.
He was last seen wearing a denim jacket, dirty black hat, sunglasses and baggy pants with lots of pockets.
