L.V. Rogers high school graduates traded their blue caps and gowns for elegant formal wear for their Grand March at the Nelson and District Community Complex today. From chiffon and lace dresses laden with sequins and rhinestones to bow ties and boutonnières, the new Grade 12 graduates wore their finest this afternoon.
Afterwards, it seemed the entire city came out to watch the students in a cavalcade of classic convertibles, big trucks, tandem bicycles, skate scooters (in high heels non-the-less), and a traditional horse and carriage. Next stop, the prom.
