A motorcycle rider was thrown 50 feet after a collision with a car on Saturday night, Langley RCMP say.
The crash took place, at the intersection of 208th Street and 56th Avenue, said detachment spokesperson Cpl. Holly Largy.
A Toyota Yaris heading south tried to turn left onto 56th Avenue, and the motorcycle slammed into the rear passenger door of the car.
The rider was flung about 50 feet by the collision.
The motorcyclist, a 54-year-old Delta man, remains in critical condition in hospital, and his injuries are considered life-threatening.
The Integrated Collision and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is investigating the crash.
Police are still seeking additional witnesses. Anyone who saw the collision and has not yet spoken to officers is asked to call the Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
No charges have been laid yet and the investigation is ongoing, Largy said.
