The Muriel Arnason Library and the Township of Langley celebrated their 13th annual Diwali (Festival of Lights) today.
Diwali, which means “a row of lights,” is the most widely celebrated Indian festival, and marks the victory of good over evil and the beginning of the New Year in India.
Turnout was good. Visitors were able to experience a diversity of culture through crafts, face painting, Mehndi, traditional music and dance, and food.
