A 23-year-old Langley man suffered a non-life-threatening neck wound when he was stabbed with a knife outside Baselines pub in Langley.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after midnight Monday to find two men lying on top of a third in the middle of the street.
All parties appeared to be “quite intoxicated” a police statement noted.
One of the men was bleeding from the neck area and told officers he had been stabbed by the man on the ground.
The suspect, a 29 year old also from Langley, was holding a weapon in his hand, a small knife, police said.
The weapon was seized and the suspect arrested without incident.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment.
The suspect has been released from custody and police may recommend a charge of assault with a weapon to Crown prosecutors.
