Langley RCMP are hoping to locate the driver of a black ‘lifted’ pick up truck who struck a pedestrian at the intersection of 203 Street and 66 Avenue on May 4.
Around 4 p.m., a 58-year-old Langley man was on foot, standing on the southeast corner at the intersection. The intersection light turned green and he stepped into the street (westbound) as he had the ‘walk’ signal, said police.
A northbound pickup truck collided with the pedestrian as it turned right onto 66 Avenue. The driver kept going while the pedestrian was taken to hospital and sustained a hairline fracture of his shoulder in the crash.
The pickup is described as newer and it was ‘lifted’. If you have information that might assist with this investigation, you are asked to call Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
