Two people have died in a multi-vehicle crash in Langley.
Police said occupants of one vehicle, a man and a woman, both in their 50s, were killed in a three-way crash at the intersection of 196th Street and 32nd Avenue at 5:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.
They have been identified as Surrey residents.
Witnesses told police an SUV travelling along 196th street may have missed the stopped sign, and collided with a VW Sedan travelling along 32nd avenue.
The collision caused the VW Sedan to be pushed into oncoming traffic where a secondary collision occurred with a large Dodge Truck.
The occupants of the VW Sedan succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
Occupants of the SUV and Dodge truck were taken to Langley Memorial Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Integrated Collision Analysis Section (ICARS) and the Langley RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) are investigating. They are requesting that anyone who witnessed the accident or who may have dash cam footage, who hasn’t already spoken with police, to contact Langley RCMP at 604-532-3200.
