The weather is warmer and that means water restrictions are in place.
The District of Lantzville has announced that Stage 1 watering restrictions are in effect.
Under Stage 1, watering or sprinkling of lawns, shrubs, flowers, trees, gardens is restricted between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Watering of vegetable gardens, fruit gardens and hand-watering is permissible at any time, though the district is advising residents to water in the early morning or late evening.
Washing of vehicles, boats, houses and the filling of pools or hot tubs is also permissible at any time.
