Large amount of blood on property was fake

Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 23 calls for service from November 4th, 8 a.m. till November 5th, 8 a.m. During the same time period, nobody was lodged in Terrace cells.

Downtown Terrace

False business alarm on Lazelle Ave.

False cellular 911 call. Numerous queries were made and eventually the owner of the phone was tracked down. It was a pocket dial.

Three men and a woman approached two young girls and offered them alcohol and to party with them. Checks were done of the area.

Several intoxicated people inside of a restaurant on Lakelse Ave. and being rude to staff. Police spoke with the mildly intoxicated group and they left.

A man overstayed his welcome and at a residence and now is refusing to leave. He left prior to police attendance. Checks were done of the area. He returned later in the evening. Checks were done again but he had left on his own accord prior to police attendance.

Intoxicated person passed out in front of McDonald’s. Police arrested a 16-year-old boy and released him to the care of a sober person.

Elsewhere Terrace

Stolen vehicle. A short time after it was reported missing there was a report of an abandoned vehicle behind the Casino. This vehicle was the missing vehicle. No damage. The people involved in this incident were all known to one another.

A woman noticed a charge on her credit card that she did not make. Police spoke with the woman.

Large quantity of blood at a property on Park Ave. Investigation determined that the blood was fake.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with locating and speaking with a person.

Assist Ministry of Children and Families with a familial situation. Ongoing investigation to locate a girl.

Suspicious person parked in a driveway on Park Ave. Checks were done. Nobody was there.

Missing 30-year-old man. He returned on his own accord a short time later.

Familial dispute. Police spoke with the people involved.

Rural

A purple semi-truck being driven in an erratic manner on Hwy 16 near Canadian Tire. Checks were done.

Erratic driver in a red 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan on Hwy 37.

Erratic driver in an orange or red Toyota on Hwy 37. Checks were done of the area.

Abandoned black F150 on Hwy 16 about 50 km east of Terrace. Under investigation.

Thornhill

Fireworks. Checks were done of the area.

A window was broken in a dispute over money. Police spoke with numerous semi cooperative people. Under investigation.

Kitsumkalum

Domestic dispute. A man refusing to leave. Police spoke with the people involved. Assistance was provided to retrieve personal items and a man left. No offence committed.
