MLA Liberal Linda Larson was in Greenwood last Thursday afternoon, March 19 to hold a meet and greet with constituents. Travelling with Larson were Boundary-Similkameen riding president for the Liberal Party of BC, Everett Baker and constituency assistant Colleen Misner. The meeting was held in the meeting room of the Pacific Grill. Showing up to talk with Larson were Midway mayor Randy Kappes, Rhone resident George Delisle and Greenwood Board of Trade president Jim Nathorst.
When asked by the Times to comment on the FortisBC two-tiered electricity pricing known as the Residential Conservation Rate Larson said, “I am frustrated and disappointed that FortisBC has not taken action on this.”
