The village of Lax Kw’aalams will be receiving a new ambulance vehicle, courtesy of Coast Tsimshian Resources Limited Partnership sometime on Friday.
Jim Henry and Cyrus Jeffers picked up the new ambulance from Crestline Coach in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan last Monday, where prefabricated parts were added to a brand new 2012 Ford F-350 to create the new emergency response vehicle.
The brand new 2012 Ford F-350 with a V10 engine will be replacing Lax Kw’aalams’ old emergency response vehicle, which was a 1990 Dodge 1 ton.
After a commercial inspection is done on the new ambulance, it will arrive in it’s new home in Lax Kw’alaams sometime on Friday.
