What offers seniors the secrets of brain longevity, a guide to safety, and an opportunity to become a sage?
That would be the “Living Well Expo” produced in partnership by Berwick by the Sea Retirement Communities and the Campbell River Mirror.
Oct. 20 will be a day dedicated to seniors wellness of mind, body and spirit.
With three presentations and an exposition of interesting services and products – this day will prove to be a wonderful opportunity to be enlightened, informed and entertained.
‘Brain coach’ Gary Anaka will be offering the opportunity to explore keeping the brain active.
Cpl. Gord Hay from the Campbell River RCMP will present The Seniors Guide to Safety. And Murray Etty, a volunteer with the Campbell River Hospice, brings an enlightening session on Age-ing to Sage-ing.
And if that weren’t enough excitement for one day – an exposition tops it off on the top floor of Berwick by the Sea.
Wander through the trade show tables offering new and interesting products and services and have a chance to relax with a sample chair massage, taste a new wine, learn about aromatherapy oils, and much, much more.
One can attend all three presentations, or just one or two. Seating is limited, so a reservation is required to attend the speaker sessions.
The exposition in the Tyee Lounge is open to drop-ins from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
All speaker sessions and the exposition are complimentary to attend and will be held at Berwick by the Sea Retirement Residence at 1353 16th Avenue, Campbell River. To learn more about these sessions and to reserve your seat, call 250-914-8055.
