Local author Dennis Thome held a reading and book signing at the Grand Forks and District Public Library on Saturday. Thome was focusing on two of his books: Experiments in Rurality, and Other F Words: Experiments in Floetry (both are available online at amazon.ca. He draws on his experiences as a community volunteer, employment counsellor, park ranger, newspaper columnist, basketball coach, and insurance representative for inspiration for his writing.
