Christmas hampers for families in need will once again be distributed by the Lac la Hache Volunteer Fire Department prior to the yuletide holidays.

Please drop off your non-perishable contributions at any of the following locations prior to Dec. 16: Race Trac Gas, post office, Lac la Hache Elementary School, Rolf Zeiss Arena, community hall, Pioneer Centre, Hungry Bear or the Red Crow Cafe.

School readying for concert

Students are busy practising each day to get ready for this year’s Christmas concert production.

The Lac la Hache Elementary School students will be performing their Christmas concert in the school gym on Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

School holidays

The last day for school before Christmas break is Dec. 19 and classes will resume Jan. 5, 2015.

Turkey bingo

Lac la Hache turkey bingo will be held at the community hall on Dec. 17 – doors open at 6 p.m. and games start at 7.
