Logging truck losses control and tips over

On March 10, 100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to a Motor Vehicle Incident involving a logging truck located on Exeter Truck Route.

On March 10, at approximately 8:15 a.m., 100 Mile House Fire Rescue responded to a Motor Vehicle Incident involving a logging truck located on Exeter Truck Route.

The logging truck lost control and tipped over on its side.

The driver did not suffer injuries and remained on scene with RCMP.

Two hours later, 100 Mile House Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire at Norbord OSB Mill. The fire occurred near the press with contract staff initially attempting to control the fire. 100 Mile House Fire Rescue crews were able to fully extinguish the fire.

However, six contract staff members were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.

No updates on these staff were available at the time of this release. No injuries occurred to the firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
