Cranbrook’s Métis community celebrated Louis Riel Day at City Hall on November 16. Mayor Wayne Stetski declared it Louis Riel Day and Métis Weel in the City of Cranbrook and the traditional Métis flag was raised over the building to fly for the week. Organized by the Mount Baker Wild Warriors, the celebration included speeches and Métis jigging.
