Motorists in Lumby are being advised of some road work.
Preparation and paving of the Vernon Street and Shuswap Avenue intersection, along with south Shuswap Avenue, will commence at 8 a.m. Wednesday and continue until Friday.
Be prepared for:
• Possible detours around the intersection, intermittent road closures and alternating traffic through these areas.
• Shuswap Avenue will be closed from the bridge at Whitevale Road to Vernon Street/Shuswap Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Traffic will be turned re-routed to Whitevale Road and Dure Meadow Road.
• Shuswap Avenue will be open to local traffic only, and business access may be limited to foot traffic only.
